Information collected
Hide Info does not collect personal information in version 1.0. The app does not require an account, sign-in, or registration.
Image and screenshot processing
Imported images, PDFs, OCR, face detection, barcode and QR code detection, redaction rendering, metadata inspection, and export verification run locally on your device. Hide Info does not upload your images, documents, detected text, detected faces, detected codes, redaction projects, or exports to a server.
The app uses on-device iOS frameworks for image processing and detection. It does not use AI, OCR, or external processing services outside the device.
Data storage
Saved projects, redaction templates, thumbnails, and prepared export files may be stored locally on your device until you delete them or clear local data in the app. Temporary exports are prepared locally for saving or sharing. Photo library access is requested only when you choose to import selected photos or save an export to Photos.
Third-party services
Hide Info does not share personal information with third parties in version 1.0. The app does not include advertising SDKs and does not use third-party image processing services.
Analytics and diagnostics
Hide Info does not include analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or crash reporting SDKs in version 1.0. The app’s privacy manifest declares no collected data and no tracking.
Children’s privacy
Hide Info does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not collect personal information or require an account, no child account data is collected by the app.
Security
Hide Info is designed to keep image processing local to your device. You are responsible for reviewing exported images before sharing them and for controlling access to your device, backups, files, and photo library. The app includes local controls such as app lock and clear local data.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
